VBA NAVARATNA AWARD 2019 presented to Bluecast Technologies

Ashfaque K.P, CEO of Bluecast Technologies, was presented Vijayee Bhava Alumni Award under the category of Slow and Steady Growth at the award function held on 01st February 2019 in Kochi. At the prestigious event, Kochouseph Chittilappily, Founder & Chairman of V-Guard Industries Ltd., presented the award to our CEO along with the Guests of Honour Joy Alukkas, Managing Director of Joy Alukkas Group and V P Nandakumar, MD & CEO of Manappuram Finance Limited in the presence of other dignitaries.

Addressing the audience in a post-award ceremony, our CEO shared a few words regarding his entrepreneurial journey and the pitfalls that he faced during his initial stages. Also, he worded a strong emphasis on instilling a sense of ownership and responsibility among employees and the work culture that the company has been accustomed to since its inception back in 2013.

“We, at Bluecast, have always been employee-centric and we believe in the ideology of mutual growth of employees and the company based on shared interests i.e., as employees grow, the company grows and vice-versa. 

I don’t force people to do things unless until I am under pressure to get the job done. Even then, I would try to find alternative ways of getting things done to deliver it perfectly.

Also, I am proud that I have cultivated a sense of ownership among my employees for what they do. As a result, I am relieved at certain times where my employees take care of the problems at the client end and respond to emails even at late-night as they are inclined to deliver proper support to clients,” he said.

Based out of Kochi, “Vijayee Bhava Alumni (VBA)” is an emerging platform for growing entrepreneurs in Kerala that currently has about 500 entrepreneurs as its members.VBA conducts entrepreneurial training programs in a bid to support budding entrepreneurs in their transition of becoming successful business leaders guided by ethics. Also, VBA conducts monthly programmes for the members and a business summit every year.
